Choose Your Own Adventure

I was at the Napa movie theater only... it was a lot cooler looking. There were some guys there that I was hanging out with. A production of some sort was going on but we were up in the balcony and the "screen" was actually the curtains covering the stage area and that was maybe ten feet away from the balcony so we couldn't see the whole picture. Then they had parts that were live performance and they opened the curtains.

Um... oh yeah. And then, there was this one friend who, when untying a knotted piece of rope, would only wind up with more knots and my other friend was teasing him a little. We were sitting on the stage and there were bits of cut rope [about an inch or two long] laying around. The guy who was teasing him bet he couldn't get 30 of them. The other guy said he could without even really trying. There were three or four next to him so he picked them up. There were a few more by me so I picked them up and passed them to him when the other guy wasn't looking. Saw some more a little ways over so I stretched a bit and grabbed them too.

Later, everything turned into one of those choose your own adventure flash computer games. It was really late and everyone was getting tired. A black screen popped up with two choices: 1] Ask your friend if he wants to get some pizza and then go home. 2] Leave your friend and check out this creepy old house down the block. I clicked on the picture of the creepy house.

So. I opened the little front gate and slowly climbed the path up to the house. It was like a mini-forest all dark and shadowy... spooky. I got up to the door and there was some warning or something on the door. The menu popped up again: 1] Knock and go inside. 2] Go back home. I hit the wrong picture and suddenly I was back home.

My friend was there eating pizza, and there was a white anthro sheep dog sitting in a chair talking with two security guards. I scrolled back and, on second look, the sheep dog also had a security guard uniform. Suddenly I knew it was a clue that the sheep dog would be working at the house and that, since we were friends, he wouldn't kill me. So. The menu popped up again: 1] Stay at the house and chill. 2] Go back to the creepy house. I clicked the picture of the creepy house again and found myself at the gate again.

This time I ran up the pathway and got to the door. The menu popped up only, this time, it was a bit different: 1] Knock on the front door. 2] Sneak around to the back door. 3] Go back home. It occurred to me that the old man who lived there might be at one of the doors with a gun and the sheep dog at the other. The old man would definitely kill me.

...and then I woke up.
