| There
was a village, surrounded by tall mountains,
which sat right at the edge of the ocean. No wind
ever blew there, so no ships could leave or enter
the harbor. There used to be wind, but an evil
mage had somehow made it disappear. The mountains
cut the village off from the rest of the island,
so the sea was the only way for them to survive.
I'm guessing I lived in this village because I
was asked to go on a quest to find the mage and
destroy him in order to get the wind back before
the village died. The problem was, this mage
lived across the ocean, so there was no way to
get to him. Blackout.
A god came to me and offered to
create a storm that would provide the wind to get
us across the doledrum and out into sailing
water. I agreed and began looking for a crew. The
high school seniors I graduated with were there
on senior retreat. CM wanted to go with me on the
quest and, suddenly, so did BB and all the rest
of the seniors. They convinced the teachers to go
along and, suddenly, I had my crew. Just before
we cast off, an older man appeared... dressed all
in gray... and joined the crew. I had a
suspicious feeling about him but I wasn't sure
why so I couldn't deny him the chance to go
along.
Blackout.
The god had created a huge
storm and we were riding the edge of a huge tidal
wave across the doledrum... crossing miles and
miles of ocean in mere moments.
Blackout.
We had all just gone swimming
and were back aboard to change. The girls went
into the one bathroom on board and were going to
change first. The stalls were really old and had
huge cracks in them so it was hard to get
privacy. No one could get totally dry because of
the high humidity so we struggled to pull our
clothes on over our damp skin. I finally got my
shorts, etc. on and left the bathroom just as AB
led the rest of the guys in to change.
Blackout.
We had landed at the mage's
island and were fighting his soldiers. It was
dark in his castle but I remember turning to CM
and saying that it was lucky "we are
elves" and could see in the dark. We
had to shoot little triangles that floated in the
air by pointing our palms at them... a flame
would shoot out and the triangles would shatter.
I suddenly noticed the guy in gray shooting at
our people and realized he was the mage's
brother. I shot at him as he ducked for cover and
eventually managed to kill him. The mage, who had
been hiding in the shadows, was furious and gave
his position away. I stepped forward to attack
him and....
End.
